Iowa CRE Expo Award Applications

Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association is pleased to once again honor our members with the presentation of the Industry Awards.


Submissions Due: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, 2023.

The presentation of the awards will be announced at the IOWA COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE EXPO which is being held on September 26th, 2023 and will be at the Iowa Events Center.    

Awards are given for the calendar year July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.

Nominations for Broker of the Year and Rising Star of the Year are to be made by brokerage office or peer.  Deal award applications are to be submitted by agent.  Industry Impact Award applicants can be nominated by any ICREA member.  All nominations will be collected, and award recipients will be chosen by the ICREA Board of Directors based on the stated criteria.

Rising Star

Criteria:

  • Any real estate professional with 1 to 4 years in the business

  • Exemplifies an individual who enhances reputation of Industry

  • Real Estate Industry Involvement

  • Looks to have longstanding career in Real Estate

  • Recipient receives a $1,500 credit toward an industry designation (e.g. CCIM, SIOR, MAI, CPM)

Broker of the Year

Criteria:

  • $100,000 + net to agent in commissions prior year

  • Real Estate Industry Involvement

  • Exemplifies an individual who enhances reputation of Industry

Deal of the Year

Note:  Two Awards will be presented for Sale/Lease Volume of $5,000,000 or under; and Sale/Lease Volume over $5,000,000.

Criteria:

  • Creativeness

  • Persistence

  • Exemplified the value of engaging a broker

Industry Impact

Criteria:

  • Non Real Estate Broker or Salesperson

  • Impacts Real Estate Industry

  • Exemplifies an individual who enhances reputation of Industry
